Highlands Art League had a very successful Derby Day fundraising event on Saturday. My polymer clay bottle (see last post) sold on the silent auction table for $130.00. I was pleased with that amount considering the amount of beautiful artwork that was offered.
It was a beautiful night and everyone had a great time.
The league owes a great deal of thanks to Jeri and Jimmy Wohl, hosts of the event, for the use of the lodge at their Rafter T Ranch. It was a fabulous setting for Race for the Arts.

I just finished this wine bottle girl and wine stopper for a fundraiser auction for my art league. Highlands Art League is in Sebring FL, and I just stepped down as director. We have three older buildings that we saved from being torn down, plus a fabulous museum. All on beautiful Lake Jackson. It really is a fabulous place. A great art space.
This bottle was given to me by my friend Jeri. She found it at a garage sale and knew I would love to reuse it for something new.
I save all my Sky bottles and make women bottles like this. Great fun. I made one for a raffle last fall and it did well for the league.

I have several polymer clay items on sale at my Etsy store. I’m posting a few here.
I have several wine stoppers for purchase and all are different, one of a kind. They really are lots of fun and just the right gift for a birthday celebration.
Crazy girls and flamingos are the business card holders I offer so far. They always cause a comment. Several of my customers have made a point of telling me how much they enjoy using their card holders.
I love making face canes. They all make me laugh. This is a pendant ready for a chain. I wore her out right after I made her and got a comment from almost everyone that crossed my path. Fun.
