The Figurative Artbeat

One of my other blogs….The Figurative Artbeat is turning into a very enjoyable experience. I continue to come across wonderful figurative artists with websites or blogs and am gathering them all in one place for my enjoyment but also for the viewer, you!

I get to converse with the artists by email and spend time with pictures of their work and learning more about them. My plan is to have a new artists at least once a week. I have an exciting artist lined up for next week, so be sure to keep checking in.

I only post a few of the fabulous work of these artists, for the full pleasure you need to lake time to visit their sites as well. So when you have a moment, spend some time with some inspirational art that will get the creative side of your brain jumping.

These are all figures that I made several years ago. Now that I have more time, I’d like to do some more.

Sadie a Bracelet Display

Sadie a Bracelet Display

I use Sadie to display my bracelets at Highlands Art League in Sebring, FL. I think she’s from Miami. She reminds me of somebody’s Aunt Sadie that lived in Miami in the early ’60s. Just had to love her.

Florida tourist

Florida tourist

The tourist is home with me right now, but has done a stint as a model in the window of my friend Janet King’s art gallery in downtown Sebring. He has been dressed as an artist, a witch and I think even cupid. His head, hands and feet are polymer clay.

Princess

Princess

I think she is a princess. I don’t know from where, but a Princess for sure. She’s a wall hanging, 13 x 14.
