Happy 4th of July!
I made this vase yesterday with a new face cane. It’s a small vase or pencil holder. Fun! Going to my Etsy shop I think.
I also posted a fish mosaic on Polymer Clay Etc. I made it while filming my tutorial.

I’ve just posted a new video to my other blog showing how I store my canes. Just had to share what I’ve learned.
If you take a look, why not take time to sign up for my newsletter while you’re there and view a video on how to cover a business card holder. My other blog, Polymer Clay Etc. is where I will be sharing things I’ve learned and posting videos. This blog is for my personal work. I know, crazy huh?

I used the canes from my video, Leave No Skinner Blend Behind, to make the two
girls here. They are both for sale at my Etsy shop.

Just finished a video tutorial for my new blog, Polymer Clay Etc., and I’m putting the business card holders I made for sale in my Etsy Shop. I also made a girl pin and another funky girl business card holder. I will be offering them too. Just too much fun for one person.

I can’t remember how many years ago it was when I saw Kim Korringa’s fish cane. She shared a tutorial and I loved the colors and make one right away. I didn’t do anything with it once I make it until recently. A fish head hat seemed just right for one of my girls. She would be in style in the Florida Keys I think. You can make your own fish cane by following Kim’s excellent instructions at Kim Korringa Designs. Thank you Kim.

I wanted to post this fish vase because I’m pleased with it. It’s not a face, but I do make other polymer clay things. I made some small pin versions of this fish to sell in my Etsy shop. I’ve shown this one locally at Highlands Art League.
