Sunglass Girl Vase

Happy 4th of July!

I made this vase yesterday with a new face cane. It’s a small vase or pencil holder. Fun! Going to my Etsy shop I think.

I also posted a fish mosaic on Polymer Clay Etc. I made it while filming my tutorial.

One of my other blogs….The Figurative Artbeat is turning into a very enjoyable experience. I continue to come across wonderful figurative artists with websites or blogs and am gathering them all in one place for my enjoyment but also for the viewer, you!

I get to converse with the artists by email and spend time with pictures of their work and learning more about them. My plan is to have a new artists at least once a week. I have an exciting artist lined up for next week, so be sure to keep checking in.

I only post a few of the fabulous work of these artists, for the full pleasure you need to lake time to visit their sites as well. So when you have a moment, spend some time with some inspirational art that will get the creative side of your brain jumping.

Here are my choices for the One Lovely Blog Award. They are listed in no particular order, but I have just discovered them over the last few months. There are many more, 15 doesn’t seem like enough, but those are the rules…..

I was honored when Eugena awarded me with the One Lovely Blog Award. I haven’t been blogging long and was delighted to be included. Eugena does some beautiful work and you can see her work on her blog Eugena’s Creations. I’m to choose 15 newly discovered blogs to send the award on to. I will do that soon, but I wanted to be sure to thank Eugena right away.

I’ve just posted a new video to my other blog showing how I store my canes. Just had to share what I’ve learned.

I used the canes from my video, Leave No Skinner Blend Behind, to make the two
girls here. They are both for sale at my Etsy shop.

I just finished  a video for my other blog. Polymer Clay Etc. I was making a Skinner Blend cane and using even the scraps to make more canes, when I thought that maybe others might like to see what I do with the scraps. I just hate to waste the Skinner Blend. So check it out. I had to edit it down so it’s not very long.
